Kindergarten
- Week 5: Keyboard review/buttons
- Review how to use two hands to type letters (one on left side of keyboard and one one right side)
- Discuss sitting correctly in chair (legs over chair, sitting on bottom-not feet); straightening the keyboard; looking at screen
- Keyboard Climber; Keyboard Zoo- show students how the Keyboard Zoo game has two different colors on the picture and explain how this shows which keys should be typed by the LEFT (blue) and RIGHT (pink/purple) hands
- ABC Ya!
1st Grade
- Review keyboarding- What do you remember?
- Review: two hands on keyboard; special keys
- Keyboard Zoo 2
- ABC Ya!
2nd Grade
- Review how to record an audio recording on the computer (PPT Presentation)
- Model good recording: speak up, speak into the microphone, etc. (done via the attached PowerPoint below)
- Begin recording student opinions
3rd Grade
- Google Doc Practice
- Sign-in to Google
- Create Google Doc
- Title Document "Summer Fun"--Click "Untitled Document" at top to change title
- Click on a bulleted list
- Create a list of things you would like to do this summer
- Insert an image to go with the text
- Share the document with me
- I will make comments to you- read them and respond
