Week of 12/4/17
Kindergarten
- Watch videos below, review opening and closing tabs, demo how to get to KDG tab on my blog site (and how to go back to my blog site) and demo all of those sites- students may work there for the rest of class
1st Grade
- MS Word List (do this first, keyboarding games when finished)
- Open MS Word with help of teacher
- Complete MS Word Tasks
- Students type their name with a capital letter
- Students press enter and then click the Bulleted list icon
- Students will type sight words that I have projected on the board one at a time
- Exit and DON'T save when finished
- Students may play the above keyboard games when they are done
2nd Grade
- Login and do 1 round of typing; log out
- In whole group, review the shift key and it's jobs
- Do the "Shift Key Scavenger Hunt" worksheet (students will have a partner)- explain directions first
- When finished, students can play keyboarding games from my Blog (show students where to find these)
3rd Grade
- Review Search Engine PPT
- Underline keywords from worksheet and then do #1 together and write down answer, students then click the Search link below and figure out the rest of the answers with a partner.
- Google Search Engine
